Wednesday Workshop – Seed Saving
September 19, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Location: Pot Town Organics (181 W. King Street, Strasburg, VA)
Easy Job/Big Payoff – Of all the gardening tasks, saving seeds is one of the least time and resource intensive with the potential for great rewards. It is a way to connect your hard work from this season to the foundation for next year’s harvest. Join Elaine Specht, Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardener and the Strasburg Community Garden Education Team on Wednesday, September 19th at 7 pm to learn more about how to save seeds for next year’s garden.
Bring your kid’s along for a fun, free children’s program, too.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, SPACE IS LIMITED!
Please register with Nick Livesay at firstname.lastname@example.org or (540) 465-2424 ext.102 or Allyson Ponn at email@example.com or (540) 465-2424 ext.104
This workshop is part of the Strasburg Community Garden Educational Series and is brought to you by the Lord Fairfax Soil & Water Conservation District via a grant through the National Association of Conservation Districts and the Strasburg Community Garden Partners.
