2025 VASWCD Scholarship

To all students interested in natural resources conservation, agriculture, and/or environmental studies, and their guidance counselors:

The Lord Fairfax Soil and Water Conservation District (LFSWCD) will be collecting applications on behalf of the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Educational Foundation (VASWCD-EF). The LFSWCD Board of Directors will choose one student from the applicant pool to send forward to the state association for review. The VASWCD-EF will be awarding four $2,000 scholarships to statewide winners.

 

In addition to advancing one student’s application to the state application review, LFSWCD will also be issuing up to two local scholarships – one to the student who is chosen to advance to state consideration, and another qualified student. The linked application will also be used for the local scholarships.
